Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello there. After much hassle with a tour operator I've decided to look at booking our holiday independently.
Can anyone recommend good agents in St Anton to book self catering accommodation though? I'm looking for the last week of the season w/c sun 16 April, 2 bed apartment, close to shops in the town. Don't mind a short walk to lifts. Don't mind spending for something decent!
I've also made a quick call to merrinannies but any nanny recommendations would also be welcome. Any resort food delivery recommendations while I'm at it?
I've packaged up our holidays in Morzine like this for a few years so know what I'm doing there, but I've not done it in St Anton. Any suggestions would be very welcome!

Look up Sydney Reilly on here

He would be able to assist with nannies.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Farry
,
Worth trying

for nannies. Just booked mine for a trip to Les Carroz and it's been really straightforward.
Let me know how you get on as St A is a destination I'd like to return to but not sure how my little one would fare on the slopes.

@Mountaindoc
, we did St Anton with our two when they were 5 & 8 in April. We went with Esprit staying at the Pepi Gabl. They got on great. The 5yr old was on the nursery slopes which are just behind the hotel. They both did a race at the end of the week which as brilliantly done - they set up blue lines for them to follow and it was done with tannoy commentary. They loved it!
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The tourist office in St Anton is great - they found me some fantastic last minute deal at the Haus Kandahar one year. Website here:

I haven't been to St Anton yet but when we had a trip to St Moritz, our tour guide helped us to pick a nanny. I have heard that online nanny services are available, you could check this out (
http://www.diamondpersonnel.com/family-blog/online-nanny-services/is-an-online-nanny-service-right-for-my-family/
). You could go with online nanny services if you haven't found any other nannies yet (

).
