Just looking for some advice, just wondering has anyone ever arrived in Ski Resort without accomodation booked and managed to get sorted.
Bit of background, had flights and accommodation booked for Soll February 25th. Family member diagnosed with serious illness and didn't think we could travel those dates so cancelled our accomodation and flights still in place, now looking we can possibly travel those dates.
I have managed to secure accomodation in Obergurgl for those dates, stillnot ruling out Soll but not having much luck finding something within budget. We will have car hire and therefore isn't an issue if we end up somewhere rural.

Phone the Tourist office in the resort of your choice. Note PHONE not email.
They usually maintain lists of available accommodation.

There are a few options on airbnb, also wilderkaiser web site and try skiline, as their accommodation includes local lift passes and they allow for independent travellers. Some reservations on booking.com allow for cancellations without charge, so keep searching regularly, as some deals pop up last second. Good luck.

@TQA, I'm not so sure about that.
Most tourist office's are now use online systems that is all linked up to tourist tax and automated bookings.
The TO will only have the same data available as the TO's website.
They may know of a few places that do not use automated booking sites but the chances of that are pretty slim.

use google maps. put soll in search bar, then onec at soll in maps, type hotel

Search for the town Soell
Put in the dates
Adjust for number of people
Check on map to make sure how close to Soell the places actually are
