Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi guys I've managed to damage the edge of my
faction
Wednesday skis and I was wondering if it would be able to be repaired, and if so at what cost? The ski has sustained damage to the edge, some of which has snapped off. Also I think the core may have a slight bit of damage to it.
Also if it can't be repaired does anyone know of any good durable skis (that are good for riding plastic) I could buy.
Thanks

@sampattinson
, If you can post a picture you will get a better analysis of the damage. It will definitely be a professional repair required, if it is worth repairing.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

hi @PowderAdict I've tried attaching a picture but I cant seem to get it to work but if its going to be a professional job then I don't think it will be worth it. Thanks for the advice.

@sampattinson
,
A pro repair might not be that expensive, certainly cheaper than a new pair. Post some pics.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

If these are dryslope park skis just cut the edge out, epoxy the crap out of everything and remember to ski on the other inside edge.
