Poster: A snowHead
|
Can anyone recommend some accommodation in Verbier week beginning 18th March. I am going for 1 week for my L2 reassessment. Not too many requirements, somewhere to sleep mainly, fairly close to Medran lift with somewhere I can service my skis (does not have to be anything special a normal dining table is fine).

Camp de Base is cheap for Verbier area, literally in the gondy station at Le Chable and a short walk from Le Couloir, Dzardys and the pizza place for eats. Not chi chi glam by any means but the staff are nice and if you are lucky you might get the place more or less to yourself.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Mind you as a CHF earner you might have a bigger budget so why not go the W?

@Dave of the Marmottes, W does look nice however for that price I could fly 1st class to the otherside of the world and still have change for a weeks holiday.

Hotel de la Poste in la chable is cheap as chips as well. I've stayed both there and in camp de base for weekend trips, both similar standard really except the hotel is maybe 3* where camp de base is deffo 2*.....

I rented a studio called 'Edda' for a week a couple of years ago, which was in a great central location and very comfortable. For central Verbier the price was fairly reasonable too.
