Poster: A snowHead

Have just worked out that Fasching in 2018 is the same week as half term. Will this mean Austrian resorts and slopes will be as bad as the French ones?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

No. There'll be fewer Parisians

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It will be busy but not catastrophically busy!
There is no official bank holiday around Fasching so this also keeps numbers down a little. (Although kids can be off school it is not all of Austria or Germany at the same time!)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I went to St Anton à few years ago when it was UK half term and Fasching. It wasn't too bad at all tbh. One or two avoidable pinch points at times but that was all.

You'll need to Register first of course.

Agreed, in my experience its busier, but not ridiculously busy. I've found it worst when local the local Austrian school holidays coincide with, for example, Bavarian school holidays and Fasching.

Not all UK areas will clash. Our half term is a week later.
