Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi

Is Verbier a resort that you go fit in a weekend skiing at??

My brother and sister and their partners have invited me out to join them in Verbier for the weekend, they are their for a week but I can only fit in a weekend trip because I'm just back from two weeks skiing at various resorts in North America.

Would it be worth going for a weekend flying out on a Fri morning and flying back late Sunday night? Which airport gives the shortest transfer to Verbier. I've never skied Verbier before, should I do it, it would be the end of Feb?

Alpinebullit, I'd do it like a shot! I've often done the same pattern myself. You need to go to Geneva and you can get a train from there with one change to the bottom of the Verbier lift system. It's cool, the skiing's awesome and if you want to knoe more about where to go, please ask
