Ground temps in the valley (800m for us) are a bit warm for the snow to build. It has been chucking it down all night and morning but the depth has stayed pretty constant and all concrete is clear.
The mountains, however, are a completely different story!
Zauchensee have said 30cm overnight with temps at -4. So this should all be a keeper!
Snowblowers are going mental too. Quite a loud buzz throughout the night!
Schladming intends opening this weekend.
Reiteralm will open for training I expect.

@flangesax, yep. Been snowing since yesterday here in Gauting (south of Munich), and is scheduled to snow on and off through the week.
Good start. Lets hope we don't get hit by the foehn before xmas like so often these last years.

As flangesax predicted, ground temps still a little warm so whilst it was hooning down this afternoon, it's mostly gone. Quite clear where the freeze line is though... and it's not that far away!
