Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know what happened to Vaurnet Ski Jackets? I've been skiing in Val D'isere for some years and first noticed the Vuarnet brand there. The jackets especially were really nice. I couldn't afford one at the time and left it until the next year. The guy said there had been a problem with a supplier and i havent seen a coat made by them since. I think they are possibly the nicest jackets ive seen. i wanted the navy down type jacket. does anyone know if they are coming back. i think they had a shop in courchevel as well. Last year the ski instructors still wore vuarnet outfits but the shop didnt sell anything to consumers.

The ski instructor jackets were probably sponsored, so another brand, but with prominent Vuarnet logos.
