Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dynastar Powertrack

I'm in the process of buying my first pair of skis.

I've settled on the Dynastar Powertrack 79, but there seems to be two different models available:

Dynastar Powertrack 79 Ca (Xpress) - http://www.dynastar.com/en-us/product/powertrack-79-ca-xpress

Dynastar Powertrack 79 Ca (Fluid X) - http://www.dynastar.com/en-us/product/powertrack-79-ca-fluid-x

The only differences appear to be the bindings, price & colour, but Dynastar's website indicates that the Xpress is more suited to beginners. Could somebody please explain what the difference is (if any) and is it worth spending the extra £50 for the Fluid X?

@jerv2606,
Using your link there is a question/answer about the versions:

Hello, The binding system is the only difference between both skis. The Dynastar Team!

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

LOOK NX 12 FLUID B90 (lightweight high performance 3.5 to 12 DIN) on the Fluid, LOOK XPRESS 11 B83 (lightweight 3.5 to 11 DIN) on the Xpress.

You would need a binding expert to say if they are worth the extra £50.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I missing something or not.

 Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Did you look at the Powertrack 84?

Maybe a little more versatile, while still good on piste...

I've not really looked at the 84, because I thought they may be too wide for me at the moment.
