Poster: A snowHead

I have a few trips planned in December. Different resorts and coming back to the uk in between. Does anyone know of a place to store skis boots and possibly kit for a week in Geneva. The airport would be more expensive than bringing them back.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the link. I've completed a form so it will be interesting to see the cost.

Any Snowheads living in Geneva? Could be a little business opportunity if you had some space in a garage!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@letsgetpiste, I have enough trouble with friends skis in my garage. Who always want to get them when I am not here!

assume you know that the actual left luggage office (Ie not the automated lockers) at the airport store skis up to 30 days but at a cost of about CHF 10 per day? the charge is per item so if you used a large ski bag you could fit in a fair bit of kit (probably not boots though). http://www.gva.ch/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-158/710_read-652

You can drop skis for service at Penseyres Sports at the end of one trip and pick them up when you return for your next trip. The shop is in Paquis, about 5 min walk from the train station. They have a big storage and when I was using this shop for my end of season service I would leave skis there till next autumn. But you may still need to travel with your boots. Or check the train service as suggested above.
