Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
Anyone know of any small self catered places there? Only for 2 people
We've been going to the Belleville valley for years, as we have family there, and I have to say Saint Martin may be my favourite place we in the 3 valleys! However, it seems to be so hard to find any reasonably priced self-catered apartments. ( I suspect this is why it has retained its 'village' culture)
After searching far and wide, we found only one SC ski apartment (studio / 1 bed style) in the whole place. totally booked up. Definitely a niche there for some shrewd investors to buy 2 or 3 little places.

Property is pretty expensive in Saint Martin and as people live there all year there are more houses than apartments unlike in Les Menuires and VT.

with success over the years. If you are prepared to stay in one of the satellite hamlets it expands your options. We like St Marcel which is only a 10-15 min walk into town, and has a ski bus first and last thing if you don't have a car .
