Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
We have been trying to arrange something different for my Mum for a special birthday.

I am wondering about arrange Dog Sledding when we go to Serre Chevalier. A google looks like this is something which is done but I am failing to find any websites through which I can get more detail about the the options and to book it (we are going to be there peak season and also as her Birthday is in now we went to get it booked).

Can anybody help point me in the right direction?

Hells Bells will no doubt be along soon and will know more. Another possibility for an exciting birthday treat might be parapenting. A "Bapteme" where you ride tandem with an instructor was something my kids arranged for my 60th.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

My Mum is afraid of heights (you should see how tight she grips the bar on chair lifts!), so don’t think she will enjoy that.

Thanks for the link. Also do appreciate the other ideas though Happy

ETA: that is the page I had found which confirmed we COULD do it but unless I missed something completely didn't give much detail on what you do, and didn’t elaborate on how to book it and how much.

Le Tribu Rando - from that tourist office link - were looking most hopeful. As link above - http://www.latriburando.com/sejours-sports-hiver-alpes-sud-15-balade-assis-en-chiens-de-traineaux-claree-nevache-briancon-cerviere-queyras-ecrins-montagne.html

But yes - French. naturellement... Might be best to get someone who can speak enough French to telephone them. Might be a bit early to book.
