Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Montgenerve - L'Ours blanc Chalet

Our group are looking at Montgenerve for end of Feb 17... is the resort good and has anyone been with Ski Miguel to the L'Ours blanc chalet in particular? We've been with Ski Miguel a few times now and really rate their service etc but it seems this is the only property they have here...

@Spike107, I stayed at L'Ours Blanc about 10 years ago with another operator. Photos now suggest it hasn't changed much in terms of decor and furniture; it was fine for what we paid, not plush, no facilities such as sauna etc. Location is fine, set back off the main road and a couple of minutes walk from the lifts. Not a mad party town with a few bars, restaurants etc., - skiing was good (end of Feb IIRC) and the trip over to Claviere was fun

It's in a good spot just off the main street in town. As montana said, probably a 2 minute walk to the Maison / Ski Schools and lifts.
