Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Summer Kids Clubs Val D

Hi

We're off to Val D in August and as this is our first time on a summer trip, I wondered whether there were any summer kids clubs / activity camps. We use Village D'Enfants in the winter but they don't appear to open in the summer. The kids are young (5 & 6) and we'd like something interesting for them to do whilst we go mountain biking for a few hours.

There's a pretty good "Club Jeunes" in Tignes (le Lac) during the summer that we used a couple of years back for similarly aged children, and they all had a good time.

They were happy to take our kids for the odd half day as convenient rather than booking them in for a whole week of activities.

But Val d'Isere is I think much quieter than Tignes in the summer and so perhaps doesn't have the numbers of visitors to justify it.

Worth noting that there's a good chance they might be the only english speaking children in their group. The staff are all pretty good and bilingual but it depends on whether your children would enjoy the experience of a new language or find it isolating.
