Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

INSTRUCTING IN FRANCE/TEST TECHNIQUE ADVICE

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Bonjour!
I'm 19 and very keen to get on and get my ski instructor qualifications. I started skiing aged 3 and have skied each year, along with doing 2 ski seasons - one aged 7 and I've just got home from my last, where I spent 5 months working alongside esf supporting the beginner groups in particular - I loved it! I'm very much hooked but unfortunately very set on working in France, as my French is quite good and I love France as a country. I am a good skier, but unfortunately have never had any race training, although I'm willing to majorly push myself, physically and mentally. I'd love to speak to anyone English who has succeeded in passing the test technique?? And also if anyone could recommend any training programs, or a review of the non stop ski 20 week course in France? Any advice, contacts, anything would be majorly appreciated! Merci!

**I'm currently thinking I should get on and get my basi 1 and 2, whilst starting a bit of race training and seeing how I get on

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Do a search for posts by R555MAC, he passed the Test Technique a few years ago and has written on here about his experience.

You can work in French speaking Switzerland with BASI 2.

@jasfrancesca, Welcome to snowHeads. There are a couple of qualified instructors on Snowheads, as above, plus Steve Angus who's based in Val d'Isere, Stuart Woodward who works with the ESF in Tignes, plus probably others (apologies to any who I've missed)
