Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I think Strictly Come Dancing should be put in there then.
Along with those high speed "terms & conditions" quoted on every radio ad and TV competitions.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I like Claudia as a presenter, both on TV and radio. I'm glad I don't encounter too many wussy wimpy posers on the pistes though. Does a place in Room 101 mean fewer people on the slopes?
For more laughs about the ludicrous customs, idiosyncrasies and behaviour surrounding our beloved leisure activity, I recommend The Bluffer's Guide to Skiing' by David Allsopp.
Any author whose skiing style is described by a Compagnie des Guides member as 'comme une vache espagnole' deserves to be respected.

I thought it was brilliant. Dreadful outfits, lots of clobber, you smell of cheese and parents who above their kids out of the way in ski school and nursery so they can go skiing on their own.
The Bluffer's guide is also wonderful. I bought it in the early 90s. I remember the line ' Never buy a pair of skis with 'TURBO' written on them. Those of us who skied in the late 80s will remember many fluorescentlyly coated skis with TURBO written on.
Despite all the quirks. We still love skiing.

My dad got me The Bluffers Guide back in the 90's when i was in hospital having my thumb ligaments sewn back together after a dry ski slope injury. It totally got me through all the pain that op caused!
