Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

So, ill be in Les C in two weeks time with my daughters and myself to amuse.
The kids will be in lessons for a couple of hours in the mornings, and that will give me a chance to blast about on my board, before switching to skis to join them in the afternoons

My question is this, id like to get a guide to show me around the area.....best pistes etc, but also to do some off piste safely Who should i go to, and because of the limitations regarding the kids, would it be worth it for a couple of hours?.

Two suggestions:

ESI ski school and ask for Christophe. He loves the excuse to ski off piste with clients. My kids have been having 2 hour private lessons with him and he's shown them a lot of the off piste routes. Obviously you are only going to see one or two in 2 hours but you'd have some fun. He boards too.

Go to the guides office (adjoining the tourist office) and see if they have any mixed groups running. I'm guessing that would be half day minimum though.

Have fun.
