Have the week booked off and looking for any tips for Europe or is it too early for a reasonably reliable forecast?
Thanks!

Yes it is, but you could be looking round at places which already have good snow (there are loads) and forecast more this week. Idea, weeks to ski, probably the best conditions of the whole season in many places.
You are going to be spoilt for choice, really, so tell us a bit more about what you are looking for.

Thanks Pam.
The best snow conditions are the priority. Looking at forecasts prior to today it appeared to be getting too warm again for the week but that now seems to have moved to later dates in the current forecast (Metcheck - don't know how reliable that is). Would consider anywhere in Europe for myself; an experienced snowboarder and my Brother-in-law; an intermediate skier. We'd prefer half board or a catered chalet but want to keep the prices down as much as possible. I'm looking at some packages with Crystal (I know! but they're currently cheapest). They have Gressoney at £409 HB, Tignes at £426 for a catered chalet and Kitzbuhel at £435 HB. Would like an alternative to France as we were in The PDS in January but if the best conditions will be France, then that would be our choice.

Gressoney is looking good at the moment. Just had a dump at the weekend, more snow forecast this coming weekend then turning sunny but still cold.
I have been watching as we are going there in April. I haven't been watching the others so they could look equally as good.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

recent SHs reports about Crystal have been fine. Gressoney does sound good.

I know my onions. Neither. the morning of the 21st will be best. Having snowed all night, but not so much as to cause infrastructure problems. And then a sunny day until 12:53 when it will sock in and be time for lunch.

And where would you recommend for lunch?

That's not a bad report but there are plenty of places with more snow. A great deal depends on what happens over the next week. There's a lot of "weather" around but uncertainty about freezing levels and the track of storms.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I skied Gressoney over half term without the 70cm recent snowfall, on piste was absolutely fine, OP higher up looked good as well, so could only get better!
Have you looked at the Arlberg or Ischgl @ChrisP3?

You know it makes sense.

@ChrisP3, to be honest, as far as I can see, anywhere in the French Northern Alps has great cover above umm 1,500m, the Valais looks great, Monterosa even seems to have bootstrapped itself out of disaster and I will hopefully check that out for myself the weekend after next unless some pesky client needs something...
Forecasts all round for snow above 1,500 until Monday-ish....
Anywhere you like really.
(I know nothing at all about Austria, or Spain).

Ended up booking for Kuhtai. The height, northerly latitude and forecast seemed to make it the safest bet and Inghams were offering their Chalet Hotel at a discounted price. Should be a nice change having only done France for the past few years.
