Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arrived in Saas-Fee last night and all seemed very quiet. Awoke this morning and there's fresh snow at resort level. It continues to snow lightly. Will be up the mountain after me eggs. Should be good up there. Will report on slope conditions this evening.

I'm following this tread after visiting and appreciating Saas Fee in early november. Have a nice day up there
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Great morning on fresh stuff with skiing possible from top 3500m all the way down to resort level 1800m. The t-bars here just down from Mittelallin kill your ass/groin if you're boarding! Some off-piste possible but I didn't venture far into the unknown as afternoon visibility became poor. The slopes are well groomed so didn't get any nasty surprises when boarding blind! Currenty plenty of slopes open to keep you occupied for a few days. The full extend of slopes should be open next week including Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell.

Light snow all afternoon. Some off-piste and itineraries possible. Great conditions apart from poor visibility high up. More of the same forecast for tomorrow + winds. Friday should be a cracker when the sun comes out.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Well what a day. Snow was plentiful and the wind didn't really turn up. Visability again poor high up in the morning but the pistes had a good layer of fresh stuff. Intermittent blue sky appeared in the afternoon and the fun began. Spent it mainly off-piste floating and falling! Marvellous. Back home tomorrow and will start praying for xmas snow in the Portes du Soleil

2016 update!
Sunday 28th Feb, and the foehn is delivering. Looks like 20cm overnight, and steady heavy snow falling as at 8am. And I thought last week was awesome!
