Been there for the last couple of days. Is that a cable to drag it out (or jump start it)?

Given the asset value, they wouldn't leave it there without a good reason. Probably a mechanical issue, and that does not look like a winch cable, so maybe charging the batteries.
If it was truly broken, they would have extracted it. I've seen one stripped of its blade, tiller and tracks, and helicoptered off the mountain.

It's a leash, it is tied up until its owner returns, so that it doesn't go worrying the sheep in the background.

It does seem a bit strange look8ng at an "abandoned" piste basher while sitting on a sunbed at the Hilton Jumeriah. 😀😀

i have seen it there for weeks, up untill a few days ago, it was parked with another smaller one.

It back in the same position as yesterday with the cable running back to the building.
I wonder rather than the cable going from the building to the machine are they using the engine to power something in the building.
