Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi , staying at hotel Col Alto in Corvara. Any advise where best to hire my skies next week?
Obviously

1. You have Sport Alfredo, other side of the road to La perla hotel
2. You have sport Kostner, at the top of the main street, next to/near Posta Zirm hotel
3. You have Da Carlo, three quarters of the way up the main street
4. Also rental at the ski school, and another rental place (Ski Service Boe); both these next to Boe Gondola station
I hired from Da Carlo but only because our hotel had a voucher for 10% off with them. Cant advise which is the best but I had no issue with Da Carlo
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just rented skis from the Ski school next to the boe gondola. They have an impressive locker room which means we can leave all the gear there overnight. The walk from Hotel Table / Col Alto (next door to each other) then becomes an easy 5 minute walk in normal shoes. Even though the Hotel Table shuttle is very efficient.
The only thing to think of is which gondola your likely to be taking first thing in the morning. There's no point having a locker near one if you're going to use the other one.
Prices seem to be the same as everywhere else. If you're booking lessons then you get a voucher for 10% off.
