The only place I can think of that that I've been to that looks anything like that would be Pila, but I don't think it is there, so I'll guess at Tignes just for the hell of it.

Finally got to see it. I don't think it's in the US. Unless it's very old. An old-fashioned gondola and fixed-grip double chair... Certainly no where I've ever been...

Yep. It's Flaine, looking over towards the Snow park - can;t remember the name of the area, but there's a bit of off piste there. The chair along the bottom is the beginner chair, I reckon the pics taken from the balcony of the Forum hotel?

nbt, I hate to quote myself, but, in the same post you have pointed to, I also said...

Now, that was dated 11 February.
So, could that be a clue? (In the end I did 29 peaks, but that photo wasn't taken from one of the extra ones)

Is that a slight dig at the Alps ssh?! have you ever been there?
Having said that,m wiuth those specifications it could be scotland, but not with that amount of snow! (sigh)

We're talking about a small resort. We took a chair up, then a T bar to get to this point. Then we skiied round the mountain and down to another small resort.
