Evening all
I need to hire a car for 4 days in Morzine in mid March but the only place I've been able to find is quoting £230 for 4 days (Europcar) and that's excluding the usual extras. Factoring the extras in I'm guessing it will be £270 odd. Seems like quite a bit for 4 days so does anyone know of any alternative car hire companies in Morzine?

@Bertie Wooster, my vague recollection is that there is only one rental location in Morzine (and to be honest, I'm amazed there's even one).

And, IIRC, it was Europcar. Was run out of the old Laury's hotel. Expensive because I doubt they keep any fleet there so if you rent someone has to drive the car up to you.

The big Carrefour does rental. I see vans there, don't know about cars. Here's the link, check it out:

Rent from Carrefour - think they do Fiat 500 types. Or hop on the bus to Thonon (7€) and hire there?

I've looked at Geneva and think I'll hire from there. I can get a free lift to the airport and it will be £70 rather than the £270 from Europcar.
I will look at the Carrefour site though because that would be ideal.
