Stupid question no doubt. I know they come with a factory wax, but should I get them waxed before use?

I got a set from them ages ago. I may wax them for the first time in a few weeks. Everything was perfect out of the wrapper for me.

Actually, unless your local shop does a hand wax or you're going to do them yourself, then I wouldn't bother.
I doubt a machine wax will leave the bases in any better condition than they already are - imho.
