Travel Insurance wording

hi all,

need advice regarding ski insurance.

basically we usually ski only one-week per season, and in 2016 we will either go to Norway or Italy (we do not do off-piste).

I've been searching for travel insurance but reading the small print you get quite confused. E.g. I always download the "policy wording" and try to find "rescue", "search", "evacuation". Apparently the insurance policies say that "medical evacuation" "is" covered under medical session, but not "search and rescue", which I believe is if you get lost in the mountains, etc

Questions:

1) If I go to Italy (Passo Tonale) there is a glacier there and apparently "glacier skiing" is only covered by paying an extra premium. Is "glacier skiing" considered taking a t-bar lift and skiing down a red run???? Or is it something more "advanced"?

2) Am I okay to assume that "winter cover" covers for mountain rescue/medical evacuation?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I spent several frustrating hours today trying to figure out which insurance company to choose from.

Any comments, past experiences are greatly appreciated
