Its been done to death before, I know.... but remind me - where is the best place for a skier to go get boots fitted in or near or accessible by train from London?
Friend has issues with her feet and needs a proper boot fitting so she can buy her own boots.

Profeet - had both footbeds, and a new foam liner done there. They are great

Profeet have exceptional service and I will be returning whenever the day is that I need new boots again!

Col at Bicester or Terry at Bartlett's. - might need a bus for that.

@Dave of the Marmottes, of the three, only Profeet are properly in London. Much as I love both Bartletts and Solutions4Feet, neither Hillingdon nor Bicester can be described as London.

the clue to the location is in the name - Bartletts in the London Borough of Hillingdon. So that would be London then!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@andy1234, whatever you say. Both Fulham and Hillingdon are on Google Maps so I guess the OP can make her own choice.

Yes whichever is more convenient for her. I have bought skis from Terry at Bartletts and also got my last two pairs of boots from Profeet. They are both shops I would go back to.

@Hurtle, To be fair she said accessible by train from London so Chamonix, Zermatt, Wengen St Antin etc would all be more technically correct than your answer though perhaps not helpful
