Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Been looking at a new case for my iPhone - had loads of supposedly waterproof cases in the past but none have been any good really. I've seen the 'Hit Case Pro', and I like the fact it has go-pro mounts and I really love the app which overlays your film with your speed, altitude etc... Anyway - has anyone got one, or a good alternative and can comment?

I use a survivor case. Not waterproof but really tough.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have used a Case Mate Tough on a few phones I've had now. Quite a slim profile, fits in pocket well and I have got on well with it but not at all waterproof, however to keep it completely dry when necessary such as to protect from condensation/perspiration when inside ski jacket I use one of these:

They actually help improve handling when wearing gloves and the phone can be operated through the plastic. If you keep some air inside the bag when sealing it sort of creates a protective cushion too. Keeps the phone clean and dirt/grit free as well.

Lifeproof do a decent waterproof one I am sure.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I use a Griffin Survivor Case - highly water resistant rather than waterproof, excellent protection if phone is dropped or banged.
