Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kastle MX88 or BMX88

Looking at some new skis, unfortunately I haven;t got the opportunity to try, fancy a pair of Kastles and not sure whether to go for the BMX88 or the MX88, looking for a ski that can handle a piste and off-piste reasonably and most specifically that can deal with Scottish skiing NehNeh

Any thoughts?

forgot to say, I'm an aggressive skier and an Instructor so want something that will suit me, kinda fancy the MX88 but some people say the BMX88 is also just as good but with the added benefit of a little rocker

Not sure that the BMX88 is still made. Perhaps look at the FX95 HP.

I've got the choice between the MX88 and BMX88 at good prices hence the dilemma, don't want anything wider than 88 underfoot really but want something that will perform reasonably well on-piste too.

I have MX88's as my Scottish / resort skis. They deal with most scottish snow like is a freshly groomed alpine run, I've used a fair few things in Scotland and none that have been as nice as the MX88's. I'm a fairly tall and athletic skier, they replaced my GS skis as my resort skis and they do not disappoint on the harder snow at all. Anything soft is a dream to ski on with them. I had a set of FX94's before these and they were ok at best, the MX88 is one of the most perfect things I have ever used on snow.

@skilehrer89, the mx88 has consistantly been one of the best 70/30 on-off ski for the last few years , really good in all but deep freshies , a strong ski that cuts through all variable snow and absolutely rails on piste . cant comment on the bmx series , but you wont go wrong with the mx88 Very Happy
