Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Probably dumb question about ski goggles

So I just received a pair of Trespass Vickers goggles. The outer lens had a protective film, clearly intended for removal, so I did so. But I noticed that on the inside lens there is also a film- I can tell because its bubbled a bit at one side. I started to peel it away but then though better of it, because I wondered if it might be the anti-fog coating. They're cheap goggles so it's possible I just got a crap pair where the film didn't properly adhere. Or maybe I'm being a moron, and the film should obviously be removed.

Help for a noob? Thanks in advance!

It's difficult to be prescritive as I'm neither an expert on goggles or familiar with the type you've bought, but I've never seen a pair with a safety covering on the inside - my guess would be it's a poor antifog treatment. Take them back

@mozwold, All my smith optics spare lenses have had film on the inside of the goggle, i know this is trespass, but its probably protective film

Yes me too, but not on a pair of goggles straight out of the pack. But contacting Trespass is a good call.

Had Von Zipper, and Trespass OTG's and both had a film on the inside. If its not a film, then I'd be returning them ASAP because of the bubbles!!
