@BobinCH, Very envious! Enjoy while it lasts - looks like double digit temperatures even at altitude returning next week to many places.

@jakemanc, expensive skipass, the rest is manageble, esp if you stay in Nendaz, Siviez or similar.

A bit sharky in the usual places as you would be expect in November but the cover is amazingly good given it was bare a week ago

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Le Chable also a better option now if the gondola stays open until late

Also take a look at La Tzoumaz. Links directly to Verbier, great pistes, off piste and there are never any queue's. Accommodation is cheaper than Verbier but still the same great skiing. We own and run a catered chalet here: www.chaletlaluge.com . We also manage self catered properties. We have great snow conditions already and still have availability for Christmas if you want a good deal.

Best resort in Europe.
Prices are mid to high. Gone up a lot in recent years.

La Tzoumaz is not so bad. I think a good way to judge how expensive somewhere is is to compare the price of a pint of beer! A pint in Le Central opposite the telecabine in La Tzoumaz if 5.5 Swiss Francs (£3.55). I know that the MBC in Chamonix (one of my favourite alpine bars as they make their own excellent beers) has put their price up to €6 a pint (£4.23).
Also new for this season the lift company (Televerbier) have introduced a staggered pricing structure....you pay 95% of lift price for mid season, 100% for high season and 105% for very high season. They are then offering a 5% discount to everyone buying their lift pass at least 10 days before their first days skiing. This way no one needs to pay more than 100% and it's possible to only pay 90%.
We will also offer all Snowheads a 10% discount on any dates still available for the 15/16 season in our catered chalet - Chalet La Luge.
