Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I bought a pair of skis from
snow and rock
and a telemark binding separately (binding is TTS). Do people in
snow and rock
have experience mounting telemark binding? If not could you recommend me a ski shop that does? Thanks

its not hard if they have the right Jig - I'm sure they do, but moreover do you know whether you want then forward or back of the manufacturers suggested mounting point?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@euanovsky
, anyone who is experienced at mounting bindings should have no problem mounting these template or not.
The two critical things are
1. Ensure your boot centre (when in the binding) matches the corresponding marked centre on the ski. And obviously centred acros the width of the ski.
2. Ensure the screws are correct length (to not breach ski base) and correct head size/shape (to fit binding)
Of course you could follow the very best route and send them to
spyderjon
at The
Piste Office
.

+1 to what Andy says; re forward/back of manufacturers mounting point, just mount them the same as alpine, the days of mounting tele bindings different have long passed..............
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

thanks guys for all your response. Just spoke with
snow and rock
. They refused to mount my binding even I bought the skis for them. They said as they did not sell the binding that I have their technicians were not trained to mount them. They said if say there was something wrong with the mount and I got injured as a result then they might get sued.
I actually don't have any mounting experience. I was aware you could mount them forward or backward of the suggested mounting point but I'm not sure how that affects say performance/control?
Spyderjon looks good but I'll have to send off my skis in post. Do you have any recommendation for a ski shop in/near London? I should probably check with ski Bartlett...
