Dear all, could anyone confirm if the advanced registration service offered, which saves 3 Euros on each pass is just that? Do not want to buy in advance, but potentially save time when we get there.

Been there 7 times in the last 4 years and never heard of this.
Never really had to queue when I've gone to get the myself, although dadmin gas sorted a couple out for me

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

...most people I know think they just turn up as part of the breakfast buffet
The Arabba lift office can have quite long queues on a Saturday morning. I suppose it just depends which village you're in.

I bought my pass there on the day. It's a bit of a hassle as only one of the lifts sells it, they require passport id and because they were so chronically slow a queue of only a few people leads to a 10min wait. They have to write loads of stuff down which they don't bother doing in Austria.

Thanks all, I think it is simply a marketing tool to get e-mails addresses, and bombard you for a few years.
