Hi Nasee,
Three of us will be there for 10 days at the end of Feb. Please share some details if you're open to 'short term' options!
Thanks

Interesting. Can you share more details on thread or by PM. Is it off piste/touring?

@Kaisr Sose, everything in Gulmarg is offpiste (there is one tiny groomed learning area, but it doesn't really count). You don't need to tour, but the 30-ish minute hike from the top of the gondola to the top of Apharwat opens up a lot more terrain, and is well worth it if you want fresh tracks (normally just as easy to bootpack as it is to skin). Having skins can be useful at the bottom of some of the long descents skiers right of the top station down towards Drang and Tangmarg, where you can have a bit of a hike out (when I was there late season it was a right ballache - around an hour of trudging through waist-deep heavy slush). No need for real light-weight set ups though; freeride skis and frame bindings are just fine.
Little write up from my trip here: http://www.luex.com/magazine/2015/11/18/kashmir-heliskiing-in-the-himalayas
