hi - excuse the stupid question, but what do the letters Rtl mean, after a ski name? I'm looking to buy some skis, and there is a choice of (for example) scott aztec and scott aztec Rtl (at the same price)- what does this mean, and does it matter? I have seen several makes with the same initials after some of the skis. Thanks.

Can't help with rtl. Some manufacturers go or RTM (ride the mountain) for an 'all mountain' ski

@Steilhang, just offering a suggestion! Could have gone for Radio Television Luxembourg like @Hyst!
I'm pretty sure it means rental to be honest but someone had said that already. Scott skis are an American product aren't they, so it would make the most sense.

If it's a rental, maybe the bindings are more easily adjusted. So maybe different bindings.
