Winter babes more likely risk takers
Quote: |
Research shows that people born between October and March (in the northern hemisphere) are liable to be sensation seekers who yearn for adventure and take risks - but only while they are young. In middle age they seem to "run out of steam" and become less adventurous than individuals born between April and September. |

Does that mean , being a June girl married to November man, he will get fat, old and boring, while I will want to go skiing even more?

So then, define yourself according to these criteria:
"They were given a questionnaire to test the degree to which they were "sensation seekers" - people likely to enjoy........
1. risky sports such as (a) parachuting or (b) skiing,
2. travel to exotic destinations,
3. experimenting with drugs.
Privately, they are more likely to
4. drink,
5. gamble, and
6. have unusual sexual experiences.
They also
7. get bored easily and
8. reject repetitive or routine work. "
Score 0-3: You are a July baby. You were born with a pipe and slippers.
Score 4-6: Either a spring chicken or a fall guy.
Score 7-8: A true midwinter raver, you are probably a snowoarder.

Acacia, interesting series of questions, but I'm not sure of my score:
1. I'll ski down anything, but you wouldn't get me in a parachute!
2. What's an exotic location? Does Camden Market count?
3. I use drugs (don't we all?) - but what is "experimenting"? How about this?
4. and 5. both yes
6. What is an unusual sexual experience? A google image search for "unusual sexual experience" got me this!
7. No and 8. Yes.

Jonpim,
I count myself as having "unusual sexual experiences", but that's only because, these days, it's unusual to have any sexual experience.
For the record, my birthday's in January

Acacia, wow! There's a brave admission: these days everyone is usually bragging of their hectic sex lives. I would offer to help you out, but Acacia could be any gender and I have already got things embarassingly wrong with AlpineWalker! I'm a February Boy.

We don't all have to be seeking the same sensations. A bit of washing up used to do wonders for my blisters in rowing season.
I was born in January and, like many other things, have been doing it the other way round, getting more adventurous with age. Or it could just be mid life crisis...?

Like Acacia says it's a time in (my) life when sexual experiencies are rare, well, let's be frank, nil. And thus unusual.
Not that I'd refuse to eat, if offered a meal, so to say.
But, I'm not on the frantic search of one. If it happens, it happens, if not, well, I can (happily) live without.
It's the same with all other needs, the less you have of them, the less you feel the lack of it.

You know, it'd be completed lot faster if the race went the other way...can't be much incentive to go quickly from Lincoln to Boston.
