Has anyone skied the Scott Powdair yet?
I currently have the aweome Scott Cruisair and am very interested in adding a second set of skis to my arsenal. I would couple them with the Fritschi Free ride pro binding. My thinking is the Cruisairs, as brilliant as they are, are not a ski for steep, deep skiing, I also considered the Greg Hill designed Dynafit Stoke 182. The Powdairs look like they will do the trick regarding their dimensions, plus we reckon my skins for the Cruisairs will fit the powdairs with not much loss in coverage.
So if anyone has skied the Pows i would be REALLY keen to here your views on them ,
Chris

chrisedwardsski, A bit too similar no? I have the Crusair's with Dynafit for touring and steeps but a full rocker (Kuro's) for lift served/short hike off piste. The Crusairs are a brilliant versatile ski and float much better than they should off piste but no comparison to rockers for a powder day.
Haven't skied the Powdairs but think they are same construction as Crusair no? 183cm vs 176cm, 100mm vs 90mm and 3.6kg vs 3.3kg.

I've skied the pow air, I went out thinking how the hell could they charge so much for a ski and then came back with the biggest smile on my face thinking I had just skied something incredibly special.
Really is an amazing ski if you have the budget for it.

Thanks for your comments guys , have now ordered the 183 powdairs will be going out again on jan 8th and am taking both sets of "air " skis with me , I know neither have rockers but Scott reckon the pro tip 350 is ok to raise the ski when needed with a bit of technique . I agree re the cruisair floating more than they should do for a 176 , quite a special ski ! As the powdair is from the same stable I am banking on having a strong set up
