Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys, if there are any Oirish over 65s out there can they point us in the right direction for reasonable ski insurance.
Or what does this Carte Neige thing cover that the larger French resorts offer.
i.e. can it be combined with regular travel insurance?

Carte Neige will cover you for rescue wherever you have a drama. But the medical element is limited therefore should be combined with insurance.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

,
Personally I have my insurance from Nat West, part of the benefits of my account, and its pretty good its very comprehensive and they promise me that there is no age limit, so I'll stick with them.
Its just that my cousin wants insurance for an up coming Bash, and he's finding a reluctance from Irish Insurance companies who would be the normal route.
Still if there's anyone out there who has a good idea, lets hear about it. Please.

If he has private health insurance in Ireland this (travel+health insurance abroad incl rescue) is usually very straightforward add-on. Or just get carre neige and rely on health insurance to cover medical emergency treatment abroad assuming his plan covers this
