Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Croatia: inflatable snow raft crashes, causing death and serious injury

An inflatable raft carrying seven people down a snow slope in Croatia has crashed, killing one person and seriously injuring two. The raft gained speed and lost control on an icy slope, flew over a road and crashed into parked cars.

The incident happened at the ski resort of Begovo Razdolje in central Croatia, according to police.

Did a tubing thing somewhere in Austria in the early 90s, 6 people in a big inner tube launched down a halfpipe-esque course carved into a piste.
