Hi
We have been asked to give some advice to a lady who is travelling with us next year in Feb regarding gloves and are a little stuck on what to say.
She has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and so the gloves will need to be extremely windproof and warm, but still allow her to grip, so nothing too bulky.
Does any anyone on here suffer from CT,S or know someone who does, and care to offer some advice.
Have you used a certain make/model?
As it’s a medical question, you can reply by the Contact Us page on our website if you prefer to.
Thank you for any advice you can give.

@Lisa_BrentaSki, Hi, we have a Reynaud's that runs in our family, me, my Dad and my sister all suffer, funny I get it the worst when using shopping trolleys
Looking at the CTS syndrome then I would suggest a glove that is not tight around the wrist area, so as with many people go a size up from normal.
I have some new gloves arriving this week (our own) I will happy donate a pair for research purposes for your lady, just message me details and sizes, they are super warm and waterproof plus nice and soft leather.
New Snowshepherd Gloves are on link below.

Mrs RL has / has had CTS in both hands (and, to a lesser extent, Orbital Tunnel Syndrome ) which causes severe pins & needles at times but her hands are rarely anything other than toasty.
It may be that the OP's client has other problems - perhaps Reynaud's, as suggested

@livetoski, Nice spec! Especially the membrane.
Did you really need the furry cuff though?
|
|
|
|
|
|
@under a new name, Thanks and LOL whats wrong with a furry cuff???
Keeps your wrist extra warm, to be fair this is a huge investment for me, so wanted to make sure they were recognised as well.

Thank you for the help.
I have sent her an email asking her to let me have her size(s). I'll post back as soon as I have an answer.
After she has sent the details I'll point her towards your website so she can purchase a pair.
Thanks again, I "really" appreciate it
PS. I like your website

I don't have CTS but do have rather arthriticky hands and anything too bulky and tight makes it difficult to hold ski poles properly (particularly as I don't use the straps on the poles). Hestra gloves I've tried in the past have been too stiff for me.
Those illustrated by @livetoski look very good. Are they quite soft? Might well order myself a pair.

Have ordered a pair; will report back!

@pam w, they are nice and soft, we improved the leather quality by a lot, nice to speak with you by the way unless I am putting 2 and 2 together and making 3 on my order systems

@livetoski, I'm just about to order some. The problem will be choosing the size. Small is usually right, but if there's not much 'give' in the material, small can sometimes be too tight, cue frozen hands. I'm guessing they're nice and soft.

yes, that was me. I have ordered Medium - I can't cope with tight gloves. I imagine my hands are quite a lot bigger than yours, @Hurtle.

@Hurtle
I tried my friend's, I'm a size 6.5 in gloves normally and the size S was quite roomy. If anything I would have liked the wrists a bit tighter but they're comfortable and very soft even when new.
