Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ESF verses Evo 2 in La Rosiere

Following Becky BB's experience with Evo 2 in Tignes (see ESF verses Evo 2 Tignes post) has anyone any recent expereinece of Evo 2 in La Ros this season. Also as we are going on 4th March experience at the quieter times. Very interested to know about number of classes run etc. as we're taking 7 kids of mixed ability and want a spead of tuition. Puzzled

Captain Chaos, you can be reassured that all the ski schools in La Rosiere are of a high standard, we have a chalet in the village and we're happy to recommend all of them to our guests. ESF have the biggest brigade, ESI the smallest but none of our guests have ever compained about any of them. It may not be as quiet as you think with EVO2 in March, they get a lot of business from Ski Espirit, the largest TO in the village, so they're pretty much booked up all the time.

Captain Chaos, The ski schools in LR are totally different to the mega resorts. We had a great booking (and have re-booked with EV2, but the all that we met who had been with ESF were over the moon. Try e mailing or talking to each school.
