Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OK, its icy nature bodes well if your edges are good and 3500m of vert isn't bad but 248 years between seasons!!

^ interesting experience with less than 10% of the earth's gravity and negligible air resistance. Might get into orbit off a kicker!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The transfer bus to the slopes would be a real PITA though.

10% gravity eh?
So an acceleration of 1m/s² would be roughly the same as U get at 4PM on a hot day at the EoSB.

What wax is appropriate for -229°C?

With about a 1 kilobit/sec connection back to Earth logging onto snowHeads would be a bit slow.... snowHead

So with only 10% gravity does that mean nobody will need at skis any more?

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Well if we're talking about skiing on other planets there's no need to go as far as Pluto. As I posted a few years ago, this area on Mars would be neat to ski (with 38% of Earth's gravity):

Very Happy

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Virgin should be offering flights soon but I guess they will be too expensive for me & I will have to wait for easyrocket. Ryanrocket's landing site for Pluto will probably be on Neptune.

 You know it makes sense.

I think this would actually be one of the rare cases where all Snowheads would be in agreement that a helmet would most DEFINITELY be advisible

@admin, if a pluto year is 248 years then a season would be about 100 years. So get it right and you could ski all your life.
