Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone been on the indoor courses, are they worth the time / money to attend? Obviously it's indoor and hence the slopes are short but i guess you can pick stuff up? Any thoughts anyone?

I did a day at the Chill Factory in Manchester some years ago, after having not skied for about 15 years. I found it very useful - to point out the poor technique and offer suggestions for improvement. If they came to Scotland I would certainly go along again.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I can't comment specifically on Warren Smith courses but I have done a couple of sessions at Hemel with Inside Out Ski and found them excellent for working on technique.

I've done a couple and found them worthwhile. The price seems to have gone up significantly in the last couple of years though.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

seconded - the length of the slope is not hugely relevant...
when I spent a week out in the 3 valleys with Inside Out we still spent a lot of time on green & blue slopes & working over short distances, you don't need huge long runs to practise core skills

i have done both the normal course and the moguls course and did find it very beneficial especially the instant video feedback
check out there indoor video blogs of there indoor courses and see the improvements yourself
i suppose some people will get more out of it than others though.
