Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The best snow of this season
welcomed us to the tempting chutes
on Gross Ötscher, Austria

No deadly avalanches, just soft snow slides in short yet extremely steep lines.
Greetings from RaxSki team, www.raxski.com

Well, he is the Extreme Carver (patents pending) and I am just a normal tax payer
For those of you with some aspiration in physics: his contact area is much bigger than mine => less plastic deformation of snow mass, lower friction....
If I had even smaller RaxSki like

I could not move at all

@Tom from Austria, so when are you going to design and build the first 'raxed' snowboard?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Congratulations, iSnowhead! Yes, we could bend one end of board upwards like a radical "rocker" ski and attach Rax fins at both bent edges.
This is how we could get much better carving parameters (no skidding aside) but at the same time we would convert the snowboard in an "one direction" vehicle like wind surfer or airplane. It means the end of the absolute symmetry.

Somebody told me that there were some "one direction" prototypes or even products at the beginning of snowboard history.

You'll need to Register first of course.

Every single carver board is designed with a front and back and not at all symmetrical.
Most powder boards are also not symmetrical as they have a shovel vs a fin.
Nice research!
@Tom from Austria, I have contacted you countless times about meeting up to demo this to me... but you never bother replying.

@flangesax, Clown shoes would probably give you a fair idea, although they may float better on powder. Madeye-Smiley

Ok, flangesax, I can armour your board with Rax fins, i.e. short yet extremely bent secondary edges.
But first you have to promise me that you will use this Rax board like an airplane, reversing very carefully and slow.

I am sorry for not answering your proposals. I have had no knowledge about

Have a look through your previous posts....
And maybe your inbox/contact info on your site.
By the way, I normally ski... but the idea of attacking my board doesn't fill me with happiness!

Well, an inflatable mattress would float even better on powder, such beating all snow-going vehicles.
So is "float" just an opposite to "direction and speed control".
I am sorry for not being serious...

@Tom from Austria, no, no problem, I wasn't being so serious myself.
