Poster: A snowHead

Hi all,
Just after some recommendations for boots with a more upright stance? Or boots with an adjustable forward lean.
Thanks

I believe that Lange boots tend to be a little more upright than the average.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks James.
I think Dalbello Rampage also? Although not sure of the figures.
What about Full Tilt, anyone have any experience with these? Cheers

@Sinkrate, lange models are 12.5 degree forward lean, salomon 13 degrees, atomic hawx 13, 15,or 17, dalbello KR2 and others there are lots of of them, it is more about your foot shape as there are so many options available now

Cheers all gives me something to go on. My current boots have been altered to a more upright cuff due to flex issues , i've been thinking of a new pair recently and just wondered what was out there. The Scarpa Freedom SL would open up a lot of options and seems to come with a 10/14/18 deg flex option. I'll investigate this one further as well as the boots mentioned. Thanks.

@Sinkrate, the Freedom SL is great and I like mine very much. I cannot tell the difference between mine and an alpine boot but then my skiing sucks. I'd also look at the Freedom as you can get it for about half the price.
On the plus side, the boot can be easily tinkered with by the user - not only can you adjust the lean but it comes with a pair of heel lifts. Regarding the lean, I have large calves and find 10 deg usable only with Dynafits (but then that's what that setting is for).
On the negative side, there are a couple of oddities and I'd suggest a little caution with the fit and a chat with a fitter. It's pretty close over the forefoot and instep for a touring boot but the ankle is a bucket. The cuff is also slightly tipped out and there is only one cuff adjustment rivet.
