Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have been taking my girls to few lessons over at Snowtrax to get them used to the feel of skis again ahead of our holiday.
My eldest has been enjoying their academy lessons and has found it has come back to her really quickly, she did the first session in Group 4, second in Group 5 and has Ben told to go in group 6 next week.
My youngest though was afraid to try anything, wouldn't join in to her group 1 session, so the instructor suggested a private lesson (very much like she was while we were on holiday last year
). We took her to the private session. The instructor was brilliant with her, really engaged her and broke the fear she had managed to build up in her mind. By the second half of the lesson, she was like a different child and she thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I am really hoping this will mean she now has confidence to join in her lessons and try when we go in a couple of weeks.
