Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Interested in joining a group trip to Mayrhofen, Austria for New Year?

There's a group of 4 of us who have just booked to go to Mayrhofen for the New Year week, if anyone fancies joining in. We're a mixed group of randoms who met here on a forum a few years ago - we've been on various trips together, with numbers ranging from 4 to 18 depending on the trip! There's only 4 of us available for NY so far this year, so thought we'd see if we can find some extra randoms for ski-ing/boarding & partying.

We're a mixed group - 2 skiers, 2 boarders; 2 male, 2 female (all going solo, no couples) all in our 30s/early 40s. All intermediate-advanced level, so we tend to try and get as much ski-ing/boarding as possible done during the day, then go straight for the apres!! The deal we got was for around £720 half board (flights, accom and transfers).

If anyone's interested, let me know (and feel free to get in touch if you're already going to Mayrhofen and fancy meeting up for ski-ing/après/New Year's Eve!).
