Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

am in US next week with work and will be flying in to Salt Lake on Friday for the weekend. Everywhere seems to have spring snow at the moment. Any suggestions on which resort I should head to?

hi...am a skier. not really bothered about off piste for the weekend and apres not majorly important - happy to have a couple as I come off the slopes then dinner. Have stayed in Park City before and really liked it. also like snow basin and powder mountain. Was wondering if anyone had been recently and knew what the snow conditions are like. Thanks

@darbyrw, I was at Solitude and Brighton a couple of weeks ago. Coverage was wide but not deep then. Generally, natural snow cover is better at the Cottonwood resorts than the Park City resorts. On the other hand, snow-making and management at Deer Valley is so good that it may be better overall, with choice of bars/restaurants later in Park City.

darbyrw, Been checking too , as flying in on Thursday - conditions looking definitely spring like but cooling off towards the weekend.

As laundryman, asks, preferences and where are you staying ?
I would think anywhere in the Cottonwoods will be quiet if conditions stay the same. Park City area will be busier as tourists will be staying there - end of Presidents week. If you like playing in trees/ slack country Brighton would be fine - cheapest of the four cottonwoods and high too. Alta obviously high but gets icy with no fresh snow, and no boarders. Snowbird, again high with trees also. Solitude open and very quiet, good grooming, no snow though in flat light isn't so much fun.

Plenty of Presidents Day sales on so bargains galore Toofy Grin
