Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Slope Recommendation in Saalbach/ partner to ski

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello everyone.

I'm currently in Saalbach (and loving it!), staying opposute the schönleiten lift.
My husbans is a beginner, and our ski school gives full day lessons only to beginners.
I am an intermediate so i have lessons only from 13:00 (meeting my guide at turm 6er tomorrow).

I want to ski alone tomorrow morning but am a bit hesitant, since it's going to be very snowy and my sense of direction is the worst...

Can someone please recommend a route for those few hours- only blues (it's my 4th week)?

Also, if someone reads this and wants to join me- that would be great!

Thanks
Michal

@michald, The weather forecast for tomorrow, Monday 9th Feb., is the same as it was today - i.e cold and very snowy. You probably noticed that many of the upper lifts were closed at various times as the wind got up to 100 kmh, so you're probably going to be limited to the lower slopes.

I suggest that you take the free bus in from Schonleiten to Saalbach and then make your way up the street to the Turm 6. From there, you can take the old chair or the Kohlmais gondola to the mid-station and play around on blue 52 (very easy) and blue 51 (a bit tougher but great in new snow). If visibility is good then continue up to the top of the Kohlmais (gondola or Panorama chair) and look at 55, 56 and 66. Eat lunch in the Kohlmaisstubn' (near the bottom of 51).
