Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

L'Atelier d'Edmond in Fornet is also starred and would be my choice for an intimate night out

Maybe someone could correct me but we went for a dinner at a farmhouse where you sit next to the cows and eat cheese fondue. It was a really fun night. Okay you might not sit next to the cows but you can see them through the window. Sorry not sure of the name but I am sure someone here could name it Smile

@pam w, I would agree but the steaks are bloooooomin good as well Very Happy

Now the Clin D'Oeil has gone for good in Tignes - the Karl Gustav in Val Claret has taken up the mantle for fine dining.

Tasting menu €165. At a sane budget (by Val d'Isere standards) my vote http://arolay.com/

 snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

Arolay every time for me, winning combo of ambience, quality food and value. Went to the La Ferme last night, €25 for a small portion of Shepherd's pie was little over the top (OK it was 7 hours cooked) and I didn't see a cow. There were four cats occupying the bar stools if that's your bag?

That I can't say, but it's in France, so as long as the kids sit quietly all night and don't want chips and nuggets, they'll be fine Razz
