Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow affecting Ben's Bus transfers

Hi,
We're heading back from Alpe d'Huez to Grenoble tomorrow morning at 10am on a Ben's Bus transfer. Heavy snow is forecast to low levels overnight. Does anyone know if the transfer is likely yo be moved forward due to weather?

Have emailed them too, but our phones are both kaput so there could be problems if the time changes and they try to ring us. Just wondering how likely a scenario it is?

Tomorrow is going to be a very quiet transfer day. And the snow is forecast to be falling this evening and the early part of the night, clearing as the night goes on. I wouldn't expect there to be a big problem. But maybe you could borrow a phone and ring them earlier in the morning, just to check.

Thanks Pam. Got a reply from Ben's Bus saying they wouldn't change the time. Sure enough they turned up on the dot of 10am despite snowy roads Smile
